I read in the paper that a 57 year old lady was attacked in Baltimore by 2 pitbulls. She was bitten on over 90% of her body, and is in fair condition at an area hospital. The owners of the dogs were breeding pit bulls, but claim that these dogs were not aggressive. I hope this lady can sue the dog’s owners for a huge settlement. I worry that the owners do not have enough money to make it worthwhile. Are there lawyers that specialize in dog bites law suites?

Wow, that is an awfull story. The good news is that the owners of the pitbulls probably will face some sort of criminal charges as well as being civilly liable. I’m not sure what the laws are in Baltimore about dog attacks, but I am sure that the dog owners can be charged with some kind of criminal charge.
As far as a lawsuit, the victim may be able to sue the dog owner’s insurance company. It may be a long shot, but maybe she can get some money in a settlement.
