My son was accused of speeding through our neighborhood and rolling through a stop sign.One neighbor said she was going to call the police and have him ticketed. Do police give out speeding tickets for traffic violations they do not witness?

You son should be ok. Police usually don’t issue tickets on just a witness account. They may come by and talk to you about it.
