My husband got a letter from the City of Dallas about a warrant on tickets he got in 1999. We have paid these tickets before but the City of Dallas shows no record. Of course this was 10 years ago and now it’s coming back. What are the limitations on tickets?

My boyfriend owes me approx. $2500. He signed a contract for $1500 to pay off a credit card and the other was verbal agreement of rent. What are the statutes of limitations for Texas? He is a police officer…the contract for the $1500 was signed in September 09 and now he is telling me he will not make payments to me…as originally agreed, but will pay me a lump sum in October 2010, which will make it a year since the contract was created and signed, at that time.

What is the statute of limitations for bogus checks in the states of Oklahoma and Texas?
Almost three years ago I left my wife and she (wanting to hurt me since I’m and officer)said I assaulted her to our sheriff’s office, pressed charges and dropped them abaout a month later or so. Almost a year later in Feb 11th of 2008 I got arrested for it because apparently the state picked up the charges and I came out on bail(my wife bailed me out without me asking)I hired a lawyer, which she helped me pay for) and she signed an affadavit asking the state not to proceed with the charges. It’s been one month short of two years since then and the court has not picked up my case. Should my case be dismissed? does it sound like my lawyer is not doing his job?
Property was seized in Denton County, Tx e.g. money and 8-liner gaming machines. I was aquitted in both trials and the sherriffs dept. was ordered to return the property. Property was not returned. Is there a statute of limitation on the return of the property?
