How long is a “writ of restitution” good for in the State of Ohio regarding evictions. I am a landlord. Obtained a writ of restitution to re-claim my property (house, rental). The defendant paid only part of the amount filed for and continues to be delinquent. The writ was granted 7/31/2009. Tenant paid for June, July, August, & September but has failed to pay at least $500.00 of the outstanding amount. Do I have to re-file? Lorin
