Can a board member of a non-profit organization resign by e-mail or must the resignation be received in writing and submitted to the secretary. We are incorporated in the State of Delaware.

I have a small Internet business that is under my name. For personal reasons I’m going to create an LLC. I’ve read a lot of information on where this LLC should be created including Texas, Nevada, Delaware, New York and a few other places. Can someone let me know for business reasons and tax reasons which of the states would be serve me in the LLC process. I want to be protected if I get sued and if I can save a few dollars in the process more the better.

I’m in the process of starting up a small internet company and would like to know what I need to do to get an LLC. I was told that I should consider getting an LLC in Delaware because of tax reasons. I was also told to look at Texas, Nevada and New York. After doing some investigation over the internet I’ve decided that I will probably get the LLC in Delaware. Does anyone know a cheap attorney or lawyer in Delaware that can do LLC’s fairly quickly. I’m also assuming that these lawyers will know the best way for me to open up my business. Also, do I have to live in Delaware or have an address so that I can get my LLC? If someone could recommend a lawyer in Wilmington Delaware or maybe Dover (the only 2 cities in Delaware) I would appreciate it.
