hello i was told i am being charged for theft and damage of property for things that was mine . ok this is how it goes , a former friend of mine had a car and it died out on him , deal was i fix it its mine , so i bought parts it needed to and got it fixed . he then in turn never sign over the title , told police i would not let him take car . police told me i was allowed to take out every thing i could show proof for so i did. now im being charged with theft . then the det. stated that if i pay off the parts to the owner and xtry “fee like court ” then charges are dropped , if i don’t i go to jail ?!! for my stuff??
