I am in the process of starting a business and would like to know if Delaware is the best place to incorporate. Is Delaware the best place to incorporate my business and do I need a lawyer?

I am starting a small business and I’m not located in Delaware. I have been searching the internet for the last several hours and I see there are several places in which many people suggest to incorporate. One of those places happens to be in Delaware.

If I decide to open my business and incorporate in Delaware should I start an LLC considering I’m going into business with a friend? Are there really tax breaks for starting a business in Delaware? I am very new to this and I’m just search for questions at this point. If anyone has experience in starting up a company in Delaware or perhaps other states please let me know.
