I had a judgement against me filed many years ago for a non insured motor vehicle accident first I never had my day in court never had papers served to me and i was wondering what is the statue of limitations on that filing so I can get my license back since the state took it away.

My Ex husband owed me money for car insurance and back child support. He gave me a total of 1200 dollars which was paid on my car insurance for his blazer. He got the money from his gf who actually got it from her ex husband. The girlfriend crashed his blazer so i ended up taking it off the road early. The car insurance company took the already paid premium and put it onto my bill for the next year instead of given me a refund. My ex husband has not paid any child support nor did he pay any daycare for our children which he is suppose to be doing.
The girlfriend is now trying to take me to court to get 800 dollars of the money back and is stating she is sueing me for 25000.00 including the court fees and interest and all that.
does she have a case? she never actually gave me the money. The money was given to me in cash form by my ex husband. He did get the money from her, so wouldn’t he be responsible for paying her back?

I crashed on December 10, 2009 in a parking lot. I hit three parked cars and so far all my insurance company has been able to tell me is that the cost for damages exceeds my coverage. While my coverage is 10,000 one car alone is charging 18,785. Is there any way for them to sue me, and ask more than the actual cost of their vehicles? Is there anyway for me to legally pay less than what they ask for?

I was driving my van to the store the other day but I have no insurance, license, or registration on my van. I was in the parking lot when a lady backs up and hits me on my drivers side door it hit pretty hard too big dent from bottom to top crease in the middle almost. anyways she gets out and sais she has no license, no ca id she is a mexico citizen and she has no insurance, but ov course the car is her husbands so I don’t know if he has insurance on it or not. She asks me not to call police that she will pay for all fixes, but she seems to be backing out, her friend came with a door from the junk yard to put on and call it fixed, but it was not even the same color….I want to notify the police to get my car fixed since it was her fault, but will I get in trouble too for driving unlicensed, uninsured, with no reg. or will she have to pay to fix it? what should I do?

Do I have to cooperate with this deposition for my stolen car?And provide all the paper work they are asking for?It has been two months with no rent a car and being transferred all over the place with this claim.what should I do about this insurance I have paid on since 1996 with nothing on my record until 2008 alot of problems with the car.
