i was involved in an accident…that was minor damaged but the impact was hard…I’m having back and neck pains….my friends baby who was involved in the accident cries every time his mom puts him in a car seat which he didn’t before the accident….my friend who also was in the car has back pains…and their insurance doesn’t want to pay more then $100 for each of us….what can i do???

What is the average pay out to the victim in a rear end collision with what appears to be a not to serious back injury?

I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT ON MAY, 19, 2009 THE OTHER DRIVER WAS IT’S FAULT. MY TRUCK WAS CRASH ALL THE RIGHT HAND SIDE. I GOT A LAWYER BECAUSE THE OTHER PERSON DIDN’T WANT TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGES PLUS MY BACK WAS HURTING AT NIGHT.I WAS TREATED FOR MY BACK AND NECK. I HAD TO GO TO THE CHIROPRACTIC FOR 2MONTHS AND I WAS ORDERED AN MRI FOR MY RIGHT KNEE.SWELLING AND AN EFFUNSION, COLLATERAL LIGAMENT. AT TO THIS DAY MY KNEE STILL HURTS. WE NEVER WENT TO COURT.

I had a judgement against me filed many years ago for a non insured motor vehicle accident first I never had my day in court never had papers served to me and i was wondering what is the statue of limitations on that filing so I can get my license back since the state took it away.

My neighbor’s sister and my son-in-law were both backing out of our driveways and backed into each other. The damage was less than $200. At that time, both decided that the police did not need to be called because there did not to seem to be any visual damages. The next day the neighbor says that her sister’s car is pulling to the right. After offering to help with the costs, I talked to the mechanic and was able to get a discount from $180 to $123 and offered to pay $75 of the $123 charge; however, she expects a full payment. In FL when 2 people are backing up, who is at fault and who is responsible for payment of damages?

Back a few years ago when I was living in the state of Pennsylvania during a snow storm I got into a car accident that was not my fault but the fault of the driver of the other can, and we both traded our insurance and everything. Both cars were not drivable so they were towed away, my insurance company ruled that my car was not fixable and then payed a quoted amount to the company I took the loan out of for the car, but it was not enough to pay the car 100% off, so I am wondering that even though this much time has passed, can I sue the driver of the other car for the remained amount that is due on the car?

I was in a car accident where I hit a vehicle that fled the scene of the accident. That vehicle cut me off in a construction area, the vehicle in front of it hit its brakes causing a chain reaction.

As it went I will illustrate it as follows:
1) My Vehicle
2) Vehicle that Fled the Scene and caused said accident.
3) Vehicle that was hit from behind by the Vehicle that fled the scene. (Also the person who’s insurance is harassing me)
4) Vehicle that was hit by Vehicle #3

Now my vehicle is totaled and I am out looking for a replacement. It was paid for so we only have liability. Of course were not happy but we were told there is nothing we can do.

However the Insurance Company for Vehicle #3 called me for a statement which I gave them. They admitted there driver did not see who hit them or where they went.

A few weeks later I started to get a letter stating I was at fault, our insurance refuses to pay because I as well as a witness claim I hit a small SUV that fled the scene.

I now got a collections letter and I am completely confused. There has been no trial, no court case nothing. I was cited for failure to have my license but the court dropped that, I was also cited for speeding but the ticket listed my speed as the speed limit so I asked for a court case there. I am obviously confused.

They never asked to speak to my witness nor anything else.

Can they just send me to collections? Can this get attached to my credit? How can this be possible given the situation? I don’t see how I could be responsible for a vehicle I did not hit or should I just wait for the court case if there will even be one?

Recently, I was involved in a car accident in a private parking lot. I was driving down the trafficway of the parking lot (going about 10mph) and i got T-Boned by another vehicle who was CLEARLY cutting through the parking spots (not using the trafficway provided to the public- and going about 30 mph) my vehicle sustained major damage making it UNDRIVABLE (which was a HUGE inconvenience seeing I was on a weekend trip and over 2 hours from home) i had to have the car towed back to my area, My passenger and I are feeling pain from the incident!

On top of pictures, we also have a police report which states that we had the right of way and they were in the wrong! If i was to follow through with a lawsuit what would be my chances of winning this case?

A driver with a suspended license ran a red light and totaled my daughter’s car.
I don’t know if he had insurance at this point. My daughter’s insurance company wants to give her 9,500 for her 2005 Camry with 77k miles on it.She is going in for a MRI next week that was requested by her doctor. The driver’s car was impounded and he just walked away from the accident. This seems unfair on her part as she did everything right. What will happen to the driver if anything?

I was hit by a driver who caused damage to my back, I am wondering what happens if he is underinsured. Typical coverage is about 25-50K, I have life altering damage, what course of action is possible to receive what i deserve?
