Stealing Website Content

I own a small website and I have noticed that one of my new competitors has stolen a good portion of my website content from me. I understand the feeds etc. but this is strict content. I’ve had this content on my site for over 3 years and I’m doing well in the search engines. The other day when I was checking my rankings I noticed a new site with a good portion of my content. Please advise!

If you catch someone else stealing your content immediately contact the website owner and demand them to take down the content. If they are unresponsive contact an intellectual property attorney that specifically handles copyright law.

Most website owners will take down stolen content once they are notified of the infraction and copyright infringement
