I live in Hudson, Florida in a Deed Restricted Community. The HOA is out of control here and when a group of went to rally other neighbors they came after us. This morning they came in my backyard trespassing looking for violations claiming they have a complaint about the height of my hedges. I have lived here over two years and have never been written up for them. Is there a statute of limitations or anything I can do?

You would have to look to your by-laws to see if they are violating any terms. A derivative suit can be brought against the HOA board, if they are breaching their fiduciary duty to the residence.
