I work for a construction company in Zanesville, ohio. My company built a home for someone who backed out of the deal after it was completed. The matter was disputed in court and my company was held liable for the cost of the home due to lack of documentation. The end result was my company fileing bankrupcy.Now, the bank that handled the contract that was defaulted upon is contacting other potential homeowners that we have contracts with to build for and, telling them what happened and trying to get them to reconsider in having my company do the work. Informing them of what was defaulted upon and other finiancial iformation about the company I work for. Is this a case of slander or deformation of character if so what legal actions may My company take against them ?
