I just heard that Howard County plans to put cameras in school buses to improve behavior and safety and to reduce crime. Is this against the constitution? An invasion of privacy?

There are a couple of things going for these cameras from a Constitutional point of view. First, there the term “Privacy” is never specifically stated in the Constitution. It was a rightt cobbled from Roe vs Wade.
When children go to school, the school is acting as an agent of the parent to take care of the children.
there is a huge public sentiment for school safety and anti crime in all of Maryland.
