I live in Marietta Ga. I signed a sattelite dish and antenna addendium to my lease that stated I can not install my antenna on common area. My dish is installed on a small patch of ground outside my apartment, just as many others. The subdivision was sold about 14 months ago and nothing was said about the antenna’s however now 3 yrs after my antenna was installed, and over a year since the new management, they are saying i have 15 days to comply with the tems of the lease, however they do not specify what penalty will be for non compliance. My question is..since the original management company did not enforce this, and the new company did nothing until over a year later, I belive that I am (or can be) “grandfathered” because the original management comany did not enforce that rule, and the new company did not until a year later and i belive they lost there right to “enforcment” because of the length of time they took to address this item.

I doubt there is any grandfather law for your satellite dish. The fact the new management company is enforcing the rules is their right. I would read the fine print of your lease agreement.
