Of all people my mother decided to file theft of a credit card and swear out a warrant. This happened in 2000 Feb to be exact the same month as my birthday. She bought me some gifts with cc but was going through a divorce with a man who was abusive in more ways then one. I was arrested and paid bond. She told me to call the D.A in Union County Ga and plead my case. My public Defender told me I could not plead no-low or even innocent. I received 5 years probation with a felony on my record prohibiting me from going to college, finding a decent career and it still makes me paraniod to this day. I was to pay 5000.000 in restitution to a women who bought me gifts on this card and not only that–**was married to man who sexually abused me for years. Yes that is on record..
I have just recently checked my credit scores and found out I have 2 mortgagees in my name for address where she and my sister reside. Not to mention credit cards in my name( although paid on time) still the fact that I was innocent, I was dumb, insecure and thought for some reason she would drop this charged. My life has really not been up to my standards having this following me around. Is there any recourse I can take to get this off my record? Should I file some sort of charges on “my family” for using my name to by houses and using credit cards.
