2 years ago, my ex had a permanent restraining order placed on me in which the judge said would be there for a minimum of 4 years, but was never stated in the paperwork I signed and received. He also placed the Brady Handgun Act on me. I have not contacted or seen her since that day. It is my understanding that she has a new guy and is having a baby with him. Can I get this order dropped? If so, what do I need to do? If I need to hire an attorney, what kind of attorney do I need to look for (speciality)?
