I have a 15 yr. old daughter and now my ex. wife says she is not mine. What can I do to find out. Shes been saying this for 6 yrs. I need the truth.

You can take a DNA test however that will not remove your legal responisbilty to support the child. Furthermore do you want to this and possibly ruin your relationship with her? Her eis site that might help you more with the legal process just find “the law” section and ask there

Yes, the only way to find out is to take a DNA test. When doing so, you and your “daughter” will need to provide blood samples. Absent human error, this method can determine paternity with well over 99% accuracy. But even if a DNA test shows that a man is not the biological father, he may still be held to be the legal father.

Many states have laws which allow a husband to contest paternity (usually through DNA testing) within a certain period of time after the child is born. But if the father does not exercise this right within the time limit, and acts as the child’s father in the meantime, the law will treat him as the legal father, no matter how obvious it is that he is not the biological father.
