Not paying for breaking lease

While being in my apartment my family & I have had multiple prolems that are a safety & health issue to my 6 month old son, me husband, and myself. We had a raccoon come into our apartment and attack my husband, both him & I had fallen down a step (at seperate times) with our son, we have flees (but no pets), and now a rat in our apartment. I have contacted management and have not received any response to any of these issues. I want to break the lease & move out the 1st week of December without having to pay the amount. I feel that I shouldn’t have to pay since the management has not helped resolve any of these issues along with MANY others.

Its not that simple. There is a process to go through to give Landlord time to fix legit issues. You did not state when or how you gave Landlord notice or if he has had time to react. Breaking a lease can get very expensive to you if your not careful. Here are some sites that answer questions on this subject. Inquire there for answers
