Hello, I am a business owner in Irvine, California. I signed an Independent Contractor agreement three years ago with a firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada. I heard a recent law passed in the last few weeks with regard to the Non Compete clause whereby not only in California but now also Nationwide the non compete would not uphold in the court of law. Is it true that this would be valid even for any agreements signed prior to this new law?
