Can someone please tell me if you are convicted for the second time in Maryland for DUI what are the penalties? Give me the amount of max amount of driving points and also if there is a chance that someone would go to jail for this charge or just get probation.

If you are convicted for a second time of a DUI or DWI in Maryland you are looking at the following penalties:
You can be fined up to $2000 and up to 2 years of prison time. You also are looking at 12 points from the MVA.
