I would like to know if it makes a difference in my settlement if I move out and get an apartment on my own that I pay for without any help from my husband, or if I move in with my mother while the divorce proceedings are going on. My husband owns the house. My name is not on it. We have been married for almost 15 years. We have had a very troubled marriage with more than one separation in our history.
