Landlord checks up on college students

My daughter shares an apartment in Delaware with 3 other college students. They want out of their lease because their landlord often walks in uninvited to see what they are doing. Isn’t this an invasion of their privacy? Does a landlord have the right to enter a renter’s apartment like that? They want to move out but have signed a lease. Are they obligated to stay?

I was searching this question as I’m in a similar situation. From what I’ve read on the internet it is illegal. The landlord can’t come in unannounced.
Here is a previous post from this site explaining the legality: http://askinglaw.com/legal-rights-for-tennants/
If they want out my recommendation would be contact a tenant attorney in Delaware if he doesn’t allow your daughter out of the lease.
