I had an issue with my home and the insurance company told me they aren’t covering all the damages. Can someone please let me know what I should do. The expense to clean up this mess is well in the 2-3K range.

Insurance companies will try and pay as little as possible. try and find your homeowner’s policy and read the fine print. You may actually not be covered. Things like floods are not covered by homeowner’s insurance.

2-3 thousand dollars is a lot of money. I wouldn’t break. If I were you I would contact an insurance lawyer immediately. Insurance companies are the worst to deal with. All over the news of late you are hearing about how insurance companies aren’t covering their clients. They are even dumping some clients because they are costing the company money. Chances are you’re not the only person whom is having troubles with their insurance coverages from that company.
