Injured at work TX

I was injured while working a little over a year ago. I worked at a dog grooming business, and a 50 lb dryer fell on my head, and I blacked out. My boss and owner of the business said she would pay for all the bills, and had me sign a paper stating that she would, but that I couldn’t sue her. In the past year and a half she has only paid about $20 on the bills. Would I still be able to take her to small claims court and get the money for the hospital bills? I’m not even worried about personal compensation. Just need the bills associated with this paid. Please help!!




Are you still employed at the company? How much are the medical bills? I would explore either taking the owner to small claims or even contact a workers compensation lawyer. I found this a post that mentions small claims court info:
