I was found of guilty of embezzlement 15 years ago and recently it has poppped up on a criminal background check for a job. This was a bit confusing because I have had several back rounds checks and this is the first time it has popped up in the last 7 years. I thought there was a Statue of Limitations of 10 years.
This was my first offense and my last, do you think I have a chance on sealing this and how would I go about it.
