I have owned a home on a 1/4 lot in an old subdivision in N,M, for seven years now. there has been an old adobe wall aprox four feet from the chainlink fence surrounding my property. the old adobe fence has an entry way to a part of my property I wish to use it seems the wall was errected to seporate the road from my property with the access being mine, I was told it is an easment but records have no evidance and utilitys arent an issue unless they used it for access prior to the road being public access with a name. Ive retreived the last plaque which is dated 19/67 and it shows the road as a public access to a large property behind mine. I would like to restucco the old fence and remove the chainlink as I already have a stucco fence arround the other portion of my property. The old discription stated a 40 ft with of the road which from the neibors fence line on the otherside exceeds my chainlink fence a couple of feet. the road is now aprox, thirty feet wide to the old adobe wall. Could the old wall be a granfatherd property line with an entry way provided? if so should I take documented photoes or sumthing?
