I filed a police report against my boyfriend saying that he had dragged me out of my house and I had fell and that he had dragged me through my front yard, but thats not really what happened. And now when I went to court I told the SA that I want to change my story. She told me that basically filing a false police report is a Crime. So basically it’s either him or me going to jail to serve time!

Filing a false police report is against the law. Your boyfriend will probably get off all charges and you could be in danger of getting charged with either a misdemeanor or felony depending upon the state you reside. It is now up to the police or States Attorney to press the charges against you. Time to start pleading!!

Unfortunately filing a false report is considered a crime in all 50 states. You probably won’t go to jail (depending upon your criminal record) but you will probably get some sort of probation.
