if you have been convicted of a felony does this mean you can never serve on any type of jury? if you are eligible does it vary from state to state? i.e. convicted in California but possible jury duty in Alaska?

In the state I live in if you have been convicted of a felony you can not serve as a juror. I’m almost certain its the same for all 50 states regardless of the state you received the felony in. This means if you received a felony in California you can’t serve on a jury in Alaska.

In Flordia convicted felons are not qualified to serve as jurors pursuant to Florida Stat. 40.013.
