I am searching for a good family lawyer located in Montgomery, Alabama. My boyfriend is having a very tough time finding an attorney located in Alabama that specializes in father rights. Over the past year, we have paid somewhat of a fortune in fees associated with child custody and have run into walls trying to find the right attorney. We have gone through two attorneys and now that the money and time is running out, we are faced with the possibility of not getting at least partial custody of the kids. This has been going on for over a year and I read somewhere that there are attorneys that specialize in taking custody cases for dads.
If someone could please recommend a pro-bono or affordable attorney to help us win custody or at least partial custody of his kids I would be so grateful.
Quick Note: We do not qualify for legal aid. We are also willing to be upwards of about 150-200 an hour for the right attorney.

Use the internet and search for “Alabama Father Rights Lawyer” and you should be able to locate someone in your area. If you can spend 200 bucks an hour you should have no problem finding someone that is willing to represent you. I do agree you are on the right track in searching for someone that specifically handles custody battles for the dad.
