i have an approved petition of f2b in 1998 and was filed in Nebraska agency. this petition as of my knowledge is being processed based from my home country’s quota. right now i am working here in the US under a work permit. is it possible to transfer the approved petition of f2b to the vermont agency or california agency and be processed here in the US so that i can get my green card the soonest possible time?

I think it would depend upon working status (Where you work) and also residency status (where you reside). Call the agency up where you previously filed and they should be able to tell you what and what you can and can’t do.
Good Luck
