Ex-wife harrasment

Posted on : 06-28-2009 | By : Legal Information | In : Divorce, Family Law, Other Legal Topics, Restraining Orders

I live in Colorado with my boyfriend, and his ex-wife has been harassing him for over a year, since before he started divorce proceedings. We have phone records showing that she calls repeatedly (one day she called 45 times in an hour and 20 minutes). If she says anything, which is not always the case, she usually uses the pretense of their 3 year old daughter, but quickly launches into what an awful father she thinks he is. We are moving out of state soon, and my two questions are: can we get a restraining order for phone/text/email harassment; will she be given an extension from the 14-day TRO period at the time of the PRO hearing? Long story short, we don’t want this to drag out; if the PRO hearing is extended, we’ll probably have to drop the case.
Thank you for your help!
