Can a person who does not show up for their eviction hearing have a Bench Warrant placed on them? It’s been two years and I have not received anything regarding this. I’ve just recently found out who the collection agency was by looking at my credit report. If memory serves me correct I think the paperwork said the if I didn’t show up that the apartments would automatically be granted the eviction. This happened in Grapevine, Texas. I’m trying to get with the collection agency to start making payments and make everything right. This is my only blemish on my over 20 year rental history.
Thanks for your time.

The eviction hearing was for a rented property/apartment? Did you actually vacate the premises?
