my son was involved in a one vehicle accident may of 07, he was transported to the hospital where blood was drawn for his blood alchol level which was over the legal limit. he was not arrested at the time. he also received a no seatbelt ticket which we paid and asked when he might hear from the court on the dwi. they said they were still working on 06 offenses and he would be notified when his case came up. in the mean time we were able to keep his license from being suspeneded. my question is there a time frame that this has to go to court or be dropped
I would contact a DWI lawyer that resides in the town where your son got the drunk driving arrest. He or she will be able to advise you. It would be worth the couple of hundred bucks to find out.
