Your friend is lying. The legal limit in all states right now is .08. This means his BAC was either .08 or over. Did they give him a sobriety test? I’m sure they didn’t arrest him because he wasn’t drunk! As far as the costs it depends upon the attorney. A good lawyer that handles DWI’s typically charge about 3K plus.
