I received a speeding ticket 2 years ago. At the same time, my license was suspended. The cop did not check that when the ticket was issued. I have long since taken care of the speeding ticket but now I have received a letter from Texas DPS saying my license will be suspended again in 45 days for driving with a suspended license 2 years ago. I have the option of requesting a hearing but I don’t know what I would have to do at the hearing. Also, can they go back on this after 2 years? This happened in Lubbock Texas.
