My niece won a civil decision in Houston Texas concerning the division of her mother’s personal property after her death. The mother’s live in boyfriend who is a Houston undercover cop (mother was also a cop, not undercover)started harassing my niece while the mother was in the hospital dying of cancer. The cop makes threats on the phone her, shows up at her home frequently, sends cop buddies to her home, etc. She has filed complaints in Houston, but the paperwork always goes missing. What can she do?

You may also want to contact you local FBI office if you think there is some police corruption going on.

What kind of complaints have you made? With the local police department? Police tend to protect there own. I would appy for a restraining order or order of protection (not sure what they are called in Texas). You can contact the court system (probably the district court )and apply for a restraining order. You may also want to hire an attorney that specializes in restraining orders.
