I received an Careless and Prohibited ticket and was dumb enough to pay the ticket after being told it was 3pt offence and would not impact my record. Well, since then I have been declined employment because as a commercial driver insurance companies view it as a VERY BIG DEAL. Can anything be done??

I received ticket in Arkansas, and have an Arkansas CDL. The ironic thing is when I called about the citation, the clerk initially told me that since I had a clean driving record, I qualified for it to be made into a “civial citation” and would not go on my record, untill she found out I had a CDL, then told me Arkansas had passed a law 3yrs ago that ALL tickets would go on a CDL holders record. She kept making light of it saying it’s only a 3pt offence it’s not a major offense….and I paid it. BIG MISTAKE!

What state did you recieve the ticket?
