My husband won a W.C settlement and will never work again and now is getting his SSDI check. But W.C is taking out $600.00 a month out of his SSDI check every month until he pays back the money he got from the W.C settlement. Can they do this? If so why even file a claim.

I am in the state of Georgia. I was hurt on the job and I am scheduled for surgery a month away. The Dr said I could do light duty until surgery however at work I am forced to perform my same job function and required to work 12 hours a day. Is there anything that I can do to for my employer to honor the light duty notice from the workmans comp Dr?

me and my soon to be ex split up 4 months after he went on disability, he has been collecting workmans comp for 2 yrs since and soon will be settling with them for a lump sum the judge is aware of this and my ex was to notify his workmans comp attorney and they are to notify me when he receives the settlement. I’m asking for 1/2 since we were married for 28 yrs, had 2 children and the marriage ended due to he infidelity I’m having a heck of a time just getting the 125 on the 1st and the 15th from him is there a form that I can submit to the judge that can be forwarded to workmans comp and they can pay me directly since I know he will not give me what I’m entitle to. Also he is now getting a small portion of that settlement along with sdi.

i was involved in an accident…that was minor damaged but the impact was hard…I’m having back and neck pains….my friends baby who was involved in the accident cries every time his mom puts him in a car seat which he didn’t before the accident….my friend who also was in the car has back pains…and their insurance doesn’t want to pay more then $100 for each of us….what can i do???

i was in a car wreck back in 1995 the pendot says i have to pay for the phone pole the other car took out an i can’t get my license until then . how long can this go on?? my insurance didn’t pay for the pole .y??

I purchased a dental package at Allcare, the first set of dentures are too big on the top and don’t fit on the bottom(partial). As I did not trust them to make a second set of dentures since they really messed up the first I began to ask for my money back. They sent me a very small portion of it back. I have made complaints to Attorney General’s Office and Better Business Bureau. It has been 7 months and all I get is a run around on both ends. I had signed a paper but I also had an expectation of services to have a quality denture not ill fitting. I am in the service and have problems with talking because of the denture. I wore dentures before and never had a problem. Is there anything I can do that I have not already tried. Allcare took all my money and I have nothing left to sue them with.
