I have a question for you Sir about GC and immigration , me and my wife filed joint i751 , i moved from her house 4 months before we filed together , she wanted to help me , so we gathered the papers work and evidences and she signed the form i751 , however in the day i was suppose to file , she change her mind and she told me that she is not going to help me anymore and she is going to divorce me , so the next day i sent my application to Vermont center , i am still waiting for the 1st NOA , now she is asking me to go to the post office to change my address so i don’t bother her going to her mailbox every time ., she also told me that she will send my mail back to the post office , I am afraid she will do that and i end up not getting my immigration notes and documents , my question is , do i contact the USCIS and tell them that i have a new address so i receive my mail without any worries ? will that effect me > will they think we are not living together and for that they call us for interview ? do i wait to see if my case get approved or i have to contact them and tell they we are separated and getting divorce ? i live in noth Carolina and in order to get divorce couple must be separated for one full year . so do i wait and see what happens or i let them know that we are separated ? thank you for your time , please email me your answer samirdehamna@yahoo.com i really need your help , God bless you

hello there, i have a silly situation, i met a guy from 3 years ago in new york, i married him and he was illegal, i applied for his immigration regulations and he got his green card after getting work permit and so, after January 2009 he disappeared, i kept calling him he never answer my calls i left him messages asking him divorce, he said he will not do it until he get his citizenship, and in a moment of rage i called INS, and i explain to them that i feel that he used my love just for paper, but they just told me that they are going to put a review in his case, that was 15 days ago, and yesterday he called me and he agreed for divorce, and today we went to the court to fulfill divorce paper works, and he apologized to me and he told me that he cannot live with this bad conscience, but my worries are what is gonna happen with INS? will they deport him or remove his green card? should i call them again or what i am supposed to do, please advise because i do not wanna any harm for him, thank you.

My friend is currently waiting on his green card and recently got pulled over. He was issued tickets for an expired license and no insurance which he can’t obtain without his green card. Is there anyway for him to get around the tickets, if he receives proof of status and gets his license and insurance renewed? Without going to court?

Can you please tell me can Hepatitis be the reason for rejection? W both paying tax and have rights for health treatment, and each 8 here have Hepatitis, I don’t see point how can they reject application. Can you please give suggestion how can we fight this?

I live in Tempe, AZ and work in chandler for a private employer.I was at a work event and I was speaking to a fellow co-worker about my view on the new AZ immigration law how I agree with it, I am Mexican based I might add. However other people about 4 of them came in the the debate and started saying that I am stupid, don’t know what I’m talking about and a traitor towards my race.Anyhow, I thought this was nothing.then I come to find out that my supervisor is leading a investigation due to the other people were offend when they never stated that they were but rather argue. Now, It may lead to my termination which I believe that in this economy will hurt me financially and break my first amendment right.Also this company cannot afford bad press and it has cause me great deal of stress, do I have a case if i do end up getting fired

A friend of mine’s husband recently received a notice of action under the number I-797. the notice notice type status that petition was approved. what does this mean and what is the next step?

I am married for 12 years. Me and my husband are immigrants and hold the green cards. My husband is a primary holder. We got the LPR through asylum on 2007. We can apply the US citizenship in 2012. But I want to get divorced before we apply USC. What will happen to my immigration status after divorce? Can I still apply US Citizenship in 2012? Do I need help from him when I apply? Would it be delayed getting the citizenship because of divorce?
