my son has been incarcerated for alleged act of stalking his ex girlfriend. He lives 3 hours away, and has disabilities. He cannot drive a car. He has to rely on his girlfriend for transportation. He has also been cleared of charges of calling and harassment on the Land Line Phone and mine and his brother’s cell phone. We do not live in Duncan, we live in Tulsa. There is no way this could happen, but he is in jail for doing all of this. He is accused of being somewhere he was not on here say. He was never seen at this residence. She went from saying she heard knocking at the door and then she got a call on the phone saying it was him coming to get her to him knocking at the door and saying who he was. The judge looked over the facts and sent him to jail with a bail of $5,ooo.oo on stalking charges saying he has been doing this for six months even with evidence that he wasn’t in Oklahoma and had no access to my phone or his brother’s phone. After i changed my number, she still said the calls were coming from my phone as well. the judge dropped the phone charges, and while we were waiting to go into court, the police came and arrested him saying he had been charged for stalking for 6 months. How can that be if cleared and there is no legal evidence of the incident. No one saw him, all the information was here say and her story changed each time she was asked about the incident. Also, when she said her was at her home, he was on vacation with his girlfriend and her father in another state.

i believe my stalking order against another girl has been violated. the police investigated it and ruled it as no violation. can i file a motion for contempt?

Okay so I live in Washington and just about 1 month ago now my sister brought home a new boy. Who in one month revealed that they were getting married. Well he yelled at me non-stop got in my face and took away all of my electronics so i got sick of him. Through background searches i found he was once arrested for Drug trafficking along with driving under the influence on methamphetamine and amhademine. Now in the documents that i received it also says that he cannot drink or possess a gun. However, he drank for 2 weeks straight at my house, shot various guns and also pointed them at 2 of my brothers closest friends. I want to know if I could do anything with this because i have a picture of him with a gun and maybe of him drinking. If i went to the police station what would happen to him because I’m sick of this mess. I didn’t know felons could get a marriage license…

I have been harassed by a woman who has a child with my estranged husband. She has committed all the following offenses anonymously: monitoring my utility account, email hacking, sending anonymous emails to my BlackBerry, calling my phone from a restricted number, death threats, changing my banking address attempting to get my statements, forwarding my mail to her home, and even vandalising my car. I have the harassing emails and have done 3 police reports and nothing has been done yet. I am tired of this and have even started the process to move out the state of New York and change my social security number to protect my identity. What can I do to bring this woman to justice.

yea my ex-boyfriend and his new g-friend e-mailed me& told me they have a bench warrant out on me for harassment,stalking,and child abuse in the 3rd degree I was like what?? I sent her a few heated words on the computer& him but never did anything like what she is claiming.I heard rumour that they had found a chalkboard with the words nasty ho on it hung on her mailbox..I feel like they had tried to set me up B/c fist I would never do that& I haven’t a clue where they live.I feel very hurt,falsely accused & I want to find out what my legal rights are regarding this situation..I don’t think people should go around telling others they have warrants out for them when no crime was committed please help!

What must someone show to a judge in order to prove defamation of character?
I spoke with my insurance agent a few months ago about the where abouts of my ex husband. I said I thought he may have gone to jail. He went to Montana for awhile and I heard this information from an officer.
She told him what i said and now he is suing me. (he was arrested for stalking, breaking and entering, and breaking rules while out on bond)

my mother passed away in april 2008 leaving my brother in charge of her will in a attempt to take everything my brother charged me and my huband with stalking. on the days in question i have legal proof where i was how can he get away with this.

In Feb.2005 my ex-boyfriends parents filed a stalking order against me and won. Since that date I’ve never once violated it. I want it terminated. What is the criteria necessary for this? I have the last years cellphone records but local phone call records are only available by a court order. They will ALL prove no calls have been made from my house to them. But:
Recently My ex-boyfriend wanted to “get even” with me for some imagined slight by telling his family i phoned their home 16 times (not once did I.)to harrass him. They said they will get me arrested if i do it again! I have all my cellphone records for the past 2 years minimum (but can only get a copy of my home phone’s local calls w/a court order) and these will prove i’ve not called them in almost 4 yrs. How can i get this terminated and these people out of my life? We live in a small community (200 population) and his mother has maligned me to the church we both attented in the past and the one of our best friends and the head golf pro at he golf course my husband plays at. She is an alcoholic and seems obsessed with ripping my reputation to shreds altho its her son who con’ts to call me, come over when he’s unwelcome and basically blackmails me if i make him mad. I was charged for stalking and harrasing phone calls on feb,1,2007 I was not aware of these charges and moved to texas on Nov 30,2006 a warrent was issued on feb 2007.This happedned in Florida
I came to back to Fl to finish school and was arrested on 9/28/2008. I am on bond. What are the statues for these charges.
