Sheriff disseminating sex offender information that is completely false – offender never charged or convicted of the statutes listed. Although sheriffs office added the incorrect info, knowing it is in fact incorrect, the info is disseminated on a site not owned or operated by the sheriffs office or SLED.

A 37 year old man, from Sacramento CA., gets online and pretends to be a 14 year old girl. While online “she” is contacted by a 29 year old man, from St. Louis MO.,and conversations of a graphic sexual nature takes place. The 29 year old decides to coerce “her” to accept money from him through paypal for “her” to buy a dog collar to symbolize that “she” is his “slave”. He also says he plans on “her” moving to him, and sends “her” money for an airline ticket to travel to him. “She” objects to taking the money but he insists that “she” do it. The “underage girl” uses the money to pay his credit card balance. What crimes have either or both of them committed, if any?

At work I was sexually harassed and assaulted by my supervisor. As a result I have developed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and have spent 7 months in counseling. While under severe stress and Major Depression (also a result of the trauma) I tape recorded my boss to validate that I wasn’t going crazy and that this actually happened to me. I had reached a point where I was so depressed and stressed out that I didn’t know what was real anymore. I had to take 1- 1/2 months off work because I couldn’t function. I told a friend about the tape and that the incidents really did happen and he said that taping a conversation is not legal because I didn’t tell my boss. I am finally gaining the strength to get back on my feet and I feel like I need to report my boss for his behavior so he never does this to another female. What can I do legally? Can I get into trouble for recording him? I live in Santa Barbara, California.

im just curious because my girlfriend is 15 and i am 17 and her mom is an abusive drunk and she keeps her locked up in her house and only lets her out to go to school. also the mother and sister hate me more then anything because me and my family tried to help my girlfriend get away from her family because she was scared for her life (everything we did was legal just so you know) but she was sent back to her mom and now they all hate me and my family and i am worried that if she gets pregnant (which she does want) that they keep her in the house as a slave like the do now and i would never get to see my child i just want some help sorting thing out cause i have heard so many different things and i just want her and my child happy and safe which they are not when they are there.

when i was 14 i went to hangout with my cousin by marriage ******** *.in am apartment on the 14th floor.a girl was there and when i tried to leave she forced me into a room .the door was locked and one by one a boy came into the room and raped me .i was raped by 3 boys that day .the third one was my cousin.and he told me while he raped me while i cried.he tried to look me in the eye and asked me “why are you crying for? ” .im 31 now is there anything i can do about it ?

A friend and his business partner were falsely accused of a similar issue back in 1989 only that time it was 2 brothers. they were charged with 14 different counts back then and the only one that held was corruption of a minor. There was no physical or medical reports to support it rather they diffused the case more or less having most of the charges thrown out. The same things is happening all over again except this time a brother and sister are accusing them. They have lived in the community all of their lives own their own business and this constant cycle is killing them. They insist at 57 and 40 they are leaving the area once trial is over. My question is? If the medical evidence indicates that both the brother and sister are intact and no scaring or unusual marks and size is age appropriate how can they make the case stick?

We live in MN. I have an 18 year old daughter (she turned 18 on Dec 20, 2009). We just found out she is 30 weeks pregnant. Which means she got pregnant while she was 17 in Aug of 2009. The father of the baby is 30 years old, and would have been 29 at the time she became pregnant. He is on SSI for a disability, unknown for sure why, but I suspect a slight mental handicap. He lives with his mother and she says he is his own guardian but she controls his SSI and his money. I want to know if there is a case for statutory rape. My daughter would not agree with this and has taken all the blame on herself. What can I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
