How long does that state of Maryland have to charge me with a DUI? An incident occured where I was involved in a car accident. The MD state trooper suggested that I was drunk but I refused to take the DUI test. I was not charged with a DUI at the scene. I would like to know if they can charge me in a month or so with a DUI?

aug 2003 i got a ticket in Arizona exabition of speed/racing on highway? nov 2009 got a dui in Nevada served my time in jail did my 45 day suspension tried to reinstate my license and Arizona revoked it for 1 year because of these 2 offences in less than 84 months.any thing i can do i am not even a resident of Arizona my last speeding ticket was 2 years ago.haven’t lived in Arizona since 2004

Hello, My daughter and her best friend just got arrested for underage drinking 4 days ago in Rockford Il. In March 2009 they both recieved a citation for underage drinking. They were at a park. They got 1 year court supervision, 3 months loss of licence, community servic and a class. Well there court superision was supposed to be up next month, but now her fried got a DUI and my daughter was with her and got a underage citation. Not good! My daughter turned 19 yesterday and her BFF turned 20 today. I was wondering if you could tell me what yo think the penalties will be. should a youth get the same punishment as an adult for impaired driving and what should the consequences be?

I was hit the other night by an off duty city official who ran a redlight and totaled my car. I asked the officers at the scene to give him a breathalyzer, and that I would consent to give one too, and they refused saying they had known him for 20 years and didn’t drink, and that he was on a back board and couldn’t stand upright to give the test. Because I requested it, shouldn’t he have been given one? It looked like him and his date were on their way home from dinner.

I received a DUI in 2005 and 2006 in FL, recently my family and I relocated to Louisiana. My question to you is, since the DUIs are now 5 and 4 years old, can I acquire driving license in the state of Louisiana. It has been 10 years after paying off a court fee for DUI. County collections is saying I need to pay full amount or be assigned a warrant.

The problem is that it has been so long, I can not find all the paperwork. Is this fair for them to assume my guilt of not paying… making me prove my innocence after all these years? Is there statute of limitations for this, from the County?

My son is 27, Got a 2nd DUI in Wilmington, NC in January. Court- probbation for 2 years, classes, court cost, weekend jail time for 7 weekends. Lost job, lost roommate, moved to Raleigh. Failed to notify probation officer. FTC, FTA and was not notified. (He failed and knew it) When we found out. Called and to go and turn self in, he ran away. This has been 5 months. He will not turn himself in and I as a mother am at my wits end and don’t understand. What are the consequences.

I was recently hit by a Drunk driver that then fled the scene. The accident was witnessed by a neighbor since I was inside at the time. The witness followed the individual and got the license plate number and truck make. The police were called and the individual was arrested. He then admitted to everything. The witness says the vehicle had a sign on it for a business. This same name is his contact part of his contact info on the police report. It is unknow at the time if the individual is soley an employee, or the owner. Am I able to sue this individual, the company that the vehicle is used for, and the bar he was at for negligence? It was also mentioned by the officer that he had a prior warrant for Hit and Run, but I was more focused on the damage to my vehicle and can not be sure if that is accurate. I am making an appointment with an attorney at this time, but would like and opinion on what my best course of action on this matter would be.
