What is the statue of limitations on driving without a license dui related?
and is this a summary or a misdemeanor offense?
Hello,
This is regarding a criminal charge for driving impaired in Ontario, Canada.
On my Screening Form from the Crown it says “The Crown’s position on sentencing if a guilty plea is entered *before* a date for trial or preliminary hearing is set: ______ ” (fine and eligible for interlock system on vehicle)
Above this it indicates “That on finding of guilt the Crown will request:______” (Driving Prohibition Order)
Does this mean that if I plead guilty before I go to trial I will not get a license suspension? (Other than the 90 day issued the day I was arrested)
Or does it mean I will get a license prohibition, plus a fine and interlock system if found guilty?
I will be pleading guilty. I’m just curious to find out if I will get my license back soon or not.
Thanks

whats the statue of limitation in Georgia on a DUI i was on misdemeanor probation and stopped reporting and left state
Hi i am currently facing a 2nd offense for DWI in the state of NJ. I already been through a trail at the municipal level with my case and did not win. My lawyer only attacked the stop stating that it was not legal and that this case should be dismissed. But the judge did not buy that. There was an anonymous tipster call that my lawyer was arguing for the illegal stop. the judge said if anything it was more of a heightened community caretaker act on part of the police for the stop. Now i am currently in appeals court and the judge did not make his decision the first court appearance yet. He hasn’t bought my attorney’s case about the anonymous tipster from what he had said in court. But also isn’t buying the prosecutors stand of this being a community caretaker act either. The part he doesn’t buy is that the one officer that had testified and had made all the observations was not the same officer that had made the stop.
My question to you would be, is there any similar cases with somewhat of this type of situation? Also if any advice you may have would be great. This has been going on now since Jan 2009.
i have a vehicle that a friend took over payments and wasn’t suppose to drink and drive while it was the loan, registration and insurance was in my name. then he crashed my vehicle while drinking and has been caught continuing to drink and drive my vehicle. so i have it back in my possession. does he have any legal rights to this vehicle?
My sister was issued a dui in Utah, but was not arrested and taken to jail. The officer told her to call for her court date. She kept calling, but would get no court date yet, so she went online to look up her case and saw where it said “dismissed” and at the bottom “case closed”, so she thought it was dropped. Now she was just arrested the other day for having a warrant for missing her court date that she knew nothing about since she thought the case had gotten dropped. The judge set her bail to too high of a price for us to get her out, so she is supposed to go in front of the judge. I am nervous because she has had two dui’s in Florida and when I looked up her records it states that the district attorney for UT has asked for certified copies of the Florida dui cases. I would like to know basically what is the best and worst case scenarios? Thank you so much.
In 2001 i received another DWI and went to jail for year and once i cam home i went back and got my Lic; bank…
Then in 2004 i receive some paper to go for a DWI hear Judge where he found me guilty for the 2001 conviction and for a 17 year old conviction and told me my license, are revoked because I had two DWI’s but can they use a 17 year convictions towards my 2001 conviction ?????????????
Yes i was wondering if someone was facing DUI and wanton endangerment charges if i should hire a lawyer?
from being breathalyzed on the road side, i hear the police have to breathalyse you again in the station. is there a time limit between tests, if so, how long?.
