What is the statue of limitations on car repair…
I have service done to my car in 2007 and the dealership did not reset my mileage to what it was when I took the car in for service should have been around 42,000 miles. When I left the dealership my car had 500,000 on it but I did not notice until we took car back 4 weeks ago. Now dealership is saying to much tike has gone by but they do know it is there mistake.
Yesterday, I tried to purchase an advertised vacation package on Priceline.com. I had been watching the price for several months and when the “sale” price popped up on my screen, I immediately called the agent to purchase. However, the agent said he could not view that offer and would I purchase (at a considerably higher price) the one he could view? I then contacted their customer service department to complain and all they said was that the offer “expired” and their agent could help me book a reservation with the package I had already been watching for the past several months. After 5 seconds on my screen it was expired? That’s bait and switch according to the definition. Is there anything I can do? I hate knowing that I have been scammed by Priceline.
My auto insurance company discussed my motor vehicle record and my drop in coverage with my ex-husband without my permission. What is my recourse in this situation?
My friend is a new business owner and makes clothing. As I was looking at her site I noticed 1 of the hats could pose a large strangulation hazard. If she was to sell this item and someone was hurt could she be sued?

I am from Malaysia. I bought a flight ticket about a year ago from Airasia in Malaysia to visit Indonesia. The departure date is next week and I will return to Malaysia a week after. However, it is not safe to be in Indonesia now because of the recent earthquake and anti-Malaysia sentiment with some Indonesians. I would like to change my flight dates but in AIRASIA’S TERMS & CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE written on my ticket it is mentioned that for Flight Change: Once a booking number has been issued, flight changes are subject to the following terms:
The charges for flight change outside of forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time are provided for in the fee schedule, subject to the following conditions:(a)if a lower fare is available, the difference in fares will not be refunded to the passenger;(b)if the new flight booked is in a higher fare class than that of the canceled booked flight, the difference in fares shall be paid by the passenger before the
cancellation or change can be made;(c)the change is not confirmed until we issue you a new Itinerary and/or booking number.(d)changes on route(s) are not allowed.
My question is since the reason to change my flight dates is not a personal reason but something that is out of my control, can I win in the court of law if I demand Airasia not to charge me any extra fee if the new flight booked is in a higher fare class? There is nothing in the AIRASIA’S TERMS & CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE that mentiones reason for flight change.
We bought a house about 6 months ago. The previous owner spent close to $1 million in renovations about 2 years ago. We have the name and number of the contractor used, as well as some miscellaneous paperwork related to the remodel (including what appears to be “parts” of the contract). We have contacted the contractor and he seems somewhat reluctant to stand behind his work… What are our legal rights and how do we pursue them? Thanks for any help!
