I have a question in regards to a product I purchased. I purchased a crimper which is a product for my hair. I was in the process of using the item when I was in the process to crimp other hair when I saw that the top of it where my hair goes started melting. The part of the plastic already melted partially and it ruined a bit of my hair. I had to take a short hair cut but the major problem is that this could have burned most of my hair off if I had not stopped using the item. I wanted to know what kind of action I could take against the company and the retailer that sells the item.
Can I sue a fast food place for finding a piece of metal sponge in my food?
Hi,
I ordered a product over the internet with my credit card, i paid express post. However i didn’t receive the order for weeks and the seller would not communicate and kept leading me on to believe it was coming the next day. So i called up my bank and processed a charge-back claim. I ended up getting reimbursed the money, and then i ended up receiving the item a month late (2 weeks or so after i put in a dispute.) Because it took so long i ended up buying the goods from a local store, so really i didn’t even need the products as there now sitting in my room unopened.
The seller has now called me up saying if i don’t pay the $200 they will do me for fraud.. Is this possible? Are they able to do anything legal wise?
Would customer rights allow me to send back the products and not have to pay anything?
I purchased a new car last year. Since day one I have had problems with the wheels and paint. This is not the fault of the manufacturer it is because of work the dealership had done to the car before I bought it. The racing stripes added by the Dealership have been chipping and peeling. The car has been to the dealership 3 times for 3 different paint fixes and now the paint is chipping again and the dealer refuses to fix it. The wheels were warped and after several weeks in the shop I was given temporary wheels until the new ones I ordered came in. It has been several months and no one knows when I will be getting my wheels. My car has been in the shop at the dealership 7 times and for over 130 days since I bought it. What can I do about this?
Purchased a laptop at a big box store. Laptop was barely used. Company recalled product due to a hardware issue, I was not notified.(said they didn’t receive my card in mail). I was not aware of recall. They said defective products could be sent to them and fixed for no charge, however, there was only a two year period for this to be done in. Is this allowed? Can a company put a time limit on a recall for a product they produced, when they know it is faulty. Not looking for a new laptop. Would just like the problem fixed which I didn’t cause or know about.
What is the statue of limitations on car repair…
I have service done to my car in 2007 and the dealership did not reset my mileage to what it was when I took the car in for service should have been around 42,000 miles. When I left the dealership my car had 500,000 on it but I did not notice until we took car back 4 weeks ago. Now dealership is saying to much tike has gone by but they do know it is there mistake.
Yesterday, I tried to purchase an advertised vacation package on Priceline.com. I had been watching the price for several months and when the “sale” price popped up on my screen, I immediately called the agent to purchase. However, the agent said he could not view that offer and would I purchase (at a considerably higher price) the one he could view? I then contacted their customer service department to complain and all they said was that the offer “expired” and their agent could help me book a reservation with the package I had already been watching for the past several months. After 5 seconds on my screen it was expired? That’s bait and switch according to the definition. Is there anything I can do? I hate knowing that I have been scammed by Priceline.
My auto insurance company discussed my motor vehicle record and my drop in coverage with my ex-husband without my permission. What is my recourse in this situation?
