Can a teacher go to jail if they quit the same day they sign a contract basically not giving any notice (not even 2 weeks) and having a breach of contract?

In July 28, I booked a reservation in a B&B of Toronto for 8/15 and 8/16 (two nights). However I haven’t receive any confirmation e-mail or anything, so I assumed that my requirement was ignored (the accidence which just happened when I was in Quebec city) and I decided to live in my friends house. However, in Aug 15 they told me that the room I booked is saved for me and it’s too late for cancellation. They sent me an e-mail with the proof that they have sent me a confirmation e-mail and it may went into my junk file. Therefore, they asked for the pay of cost and required my credit card number. Would it be illegal if I just ignore them and refuse to pay?

i recently purchased a car with my back pay from social security. i had a payee at the time who was living with me and i put the title of the car in both of our names. i paid cash for the car and my name is the only one on the receipts. my payee at that time,took my car when he decided to move out and refuses to give the car back to me,and he has the only key to the car too. what can i do to get my car back legally?

do you any time to cancel a used car contract after it has been signed.

i have a vehicle that a friend took over payments and wasn’t suppose to drink and drive while it was the loan, registration and insurance was in my name. then he crashed my vehicle while drinking and has been caught continuing to drink and drive my vehicle. so i have it back in my possession. does he have any legal rights to this vehicle?

Last month I rented a party bus for a total of 8 hours. The bus was suppose to fit 35 people and be stocked with sodas and water. Upon arrival of the bus I learned that the company I hired Exotic Limo, which was in Brooklyn, hired the job out to another company, Coachman Limo, which was out of Staten Island. This bus only sat 30 people when I had contracted for a party of 35. Due to DOT regulations the driver refused to drive that many people being that the bus will be over capacity. The debate regarding the size of the bus with the dispatcher, the drivers’ company and the company I hired continued for about 1 hour via telephone. After losing over 1 hour the driver agreed to drive the bus despite it being over capacity, and said that the hour could not be added to the trip or made up. This left 5 individuals standing the entire ride or sitting on another individuals lap. We further learned that the bus did not have the sodas or waters that were suppose to be stocked nor did it even have the 30 glasses to occupy what should have been the maximum load. Upon contacting Exotic Limo for some type of compensation they proceeded to debate with Coachman Limo on whom should compensate me. After a number of calls Exotic Limo said they would give me a credit for another limo for “a couple of hours”. I was looking to return money to some of the guest who stood and did not find the credit to be sufficient to the situation.

I want to know whether I should sign a settlement agreement for a domain name?
The domain name was infringing on my IP rights and so the domain holder agreed to transfer it over to me on the condition of signing a settlement and release agreement. The reason i am so reluctant is that i do not see the need for a settlement agreement, if he just transfers the domain over to me in what circumstances would i bring any future action against him for the domain…I really think the domain holder is trying to make me give up any future rights I have and ultimately bar me from bringing any future action against him concerning unrelated claims. Should I sign this agreement?

I bought a vehicle from a used car dealer, I put $2,000 dollars down and I was approved for a 3.,000 loan from his finance Company. He came back to me three days later and said I was not approved, but that I could pay him 75.00 a week. I decided to call the finance company myself and was told on two separate occasions the I was approved,that it was not me, but it was the dealer, something to do with the title. I called the Motor Vehicle’s and was told that my name was on the registration and this finance co of his. I asked him why the finance company was still on it and he said just leave it like that. I am thinking that he told Motor Vehicle that he sold the car to me for $2,000 not the $5,000 I bought it for. I think something is very wrong with this

I signed a partnership contract and invested money in it. The other side didn’t do anything but spend all the money without any receipts. I am so angry and like to know if I can send him to jail for this not just contract breach law sue?

Bought a car under financing well, not even having the car a month we broke down with the car on a Wednesday and they told us it was the starter,well we got a call the next day they had to put a new starter in it but,the wires were wrong in the car and the ignition switch was bad,so we got the car back not even for 10 minutes we had to take it back the Friday we got it because the car was extremely loud,well the dealer stated it was a bad starter they put in so,they stated they have to put a new starter in,Monday we get the call that the computer is gone in the car and they have to put a new computer in the car,in the meantime they gave us a junky loaner car which is in bad shape and have asked them numerous times for a different loaner car in which they said they don’t have,Friday June 11,they call us and tell us they have no idea what is wrong with the car.Does it look like we have a case.We are tired of all the run around from them.
