What is the statue of limitations on car repair…
I have service done to my car in 2007 and the dealership did not reset my mileage to what it was when I took the car in for service should have been around 42,000 miles. When I left the dealership my car had 500,000 on it but I did not notice until we took car back 4 weeks ago. Now dealership is saying to much tike has gone by but they do know it is there mistake.
We had a guy we gave 7,500 (we have copies of the checks). He cashed them, they all cleared etc. He later we supposed to start the job and never did. We asked him for the money back and he says he doesnt have it anymore, yet he is in the bar every day. Should we file a police report and sue, or just sue, what do you suggest I do first.

I bought a motorcycle 21 months ago. 4 months after I bought the bike it was stolen. It was recovered a week later. After it was recovered the insurance company had it checked out and discovered that the bike’s frame was warped in two palces. Further investigation revealed that the bike had been totalled out 2 years before I bought the bike. I have two questions. 1) Do I have good case to sue the man that sold me the bike since he knew that it had been wrecked but did not tell me and 2) Is there a time frame that I have to sue him?

I was pretty upset when i noticed that a coca cola bottled drink that was sold to me from a fast food take away, was only meant for sale in Vietnam. It’s exact words state: “Exclusively for sale in Vietnam. This product is intended exclusively for sale within the territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Exports are not authorized.”
Therefor I was woundering if this was against the law and a sueable offence, as nothing else on the bottle can be understood.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

my previous employer lies about his location. Because of the nature of the business and the very low number of competitors, this makes his product sell better even though it is two different company names. On the second company’s website (which is the one I eventually worked for) and is an all internet company, it says we are in a different location then we actually are and we are forced to lie to our customers. On top of that, if anyone asks who the owner of the company is (customer or not), we can’t answer them and the call is eventually transferred to the supervisor who says she can’t divulge that information, but takes their name and phone number for someone to call them back, but they never receive a call again. The owner is notified of the call and any details we have of the caller and the call never returned. Can I sue my previous employer for making me lie about these things?

Are there certain laws in the state of wisconsin that a club/bar owner are required to follow?
I am asking this question for a friend. He and his wife were married for 10 years and own a landscape architecture business together. He is wiling to split the business with her, but she is claiming that she is entitled to alimony too. Isn’t this “double-dipping”? While she was the primary care-giver of the two children, she was never away from the job market and the children are now old enough that she could work full-time. They made the same hourly rate but because he worked more, his income was technically higher.
