Our Condo HOA is located in San Antonio, TX. We have a person who has destoryed our HOA by buying up distressed units within our HOA that now gives this person a 17% ownership in the HOA that has hiked our insurance and prevents other owners in selling via VHA or VA loans who restrict any HOA that has a single person more than a 10% ownership interest.
Question: Can we amend our declarate to reflect that nobody can own more than Two (2) units within the HOA and we will Grandfather this one person however if they sell any units that they can not replace them unless they sell Nine out of their current Ten units and then they can only buy one unit for a total of Two (2) as we are proposing?????
