Living in New York, I am wondering if I can add my 16 year old daughter’s on the deed of my house closing in two months.
The reason is that my house is mortgage free and that is all I have. My girlfriend refuses to sign a premarital agreement. I am concerned that when she leaves me after the married and takes half of my asset away. By that time, I even do not have enough money to send my daughter to university.
Could anybody give me a clue if New York State law allows my daughter’s name on the deed?
Thanks a lot!
Charlie
