My friend went out with a guy last night and apparently bought him a fair number of drinks — enough so that she described him as smashed and ****faced. She dropped him off at a mutual friend’s place, and now he’s missing. She has witnesses that she was not the last person he was with, however there’s still that bit about her buying him drinks knowing that he was underage. I suspect he’s just passed out on a couch somewhere, but if the police become involved what could she be looking at in terms of legal issues?

She could be held liable for purchasing alcohol for a minor. Here’s hoping the guy is ok and didn’t get hurt, otherwise your friend may be in trouble.
