Hi there.
Okay, here it is…
My boyfriend, (we’ll say “Fred”), was at a bar conversing with the owner. The bouncer placed a chair directly in front of Fred’s field of vision (which was directed towards the band) and simply stared at Fred. Fred then placed a chair in front of the bouncer and did the same. The bouncer began pushing Fred hard, repeatedly backwards. I’m not entirely clear on the words that were exchanged but the bouncer had not told him to leave or warned him for anything. When Fred and the bouncer were near the exit, the bouncer then pushed him out of the bar and onto the pavement where he sustained multiple small cuts and bruises. The bouncer then went back inside. Frustrated, Fred stood back up and reached for the bar door only to find that the bouncer was holding it shut. They pulled for a moment and then Fred became more frustrated and punched the window of the bar. The window cracked and the bar/bouncer called the police. Fred was apprehended by police, charged with mischief and given a court date. Fred and I are going to file assault charges against the bouncer. The next morning Fred had trouble getting out of bed due to the fact that the bouncer’s actions had aggravated a previous soccer injury to his chest. Fred had multiple bruises, cuts, nail/finger marks, and scrapes all over his body including one spectacular bruise on one of his biceps. We’ve photographed the injuries for about 5 days until the bruises healed.
Any advice would be immensely appreciated!
Ash
